How to Create Your Keepsake Book

Creating a meaningful keepsake book with Guidedtales takes just a few simple steps. Here's how to get started.

Step 1: Start Your Book

Click Create Your Book from the homepage. You'll be asked:

Who is this book for? Enter the name of the person you're writing about

Your relationship — Select how you're connected (parent, partner, friend, etc.)

Step 2: Complete Checkout

Choose your package and complete the secure checkout. Once done, you'll have immediate access to start answering prompts.

Step 3: Answer Prompts

You'll receive personalized prompts designed for your specific relationship. Each prompt takes just a few minutes to answer.

Write as much or as little as you'd like

Skip prompts and come back later

Edit your answers anytime before printing

Step 4: Customize Your Cover

From your dashboard, personalize your book's cover:

Add a title and subtitle

Upload a cover photo (optional)

Preview how it will look

Step 5: Order Your Printed Book

Once you've answered at least 10 prompts, you can order a printed copy:

Go to your story's detail page

Click Ship This Book

Enter shipping details

We'll print and ship it directly to you or your recipient

That's it! Your keepsake book will be on its way, filled with meaningful stories and memories.
